Roy and Becky Hostetter during one of our trips to the
Dominican Republic.

I became
very interested in foreign missions in the early 1990's, although I didn't take my first mission trip until 1998. My dear
friend Rev. Roy Hostetter introduced me to the foreign mission field. Brother Roy also bought me a Bible before I was saved.
Roy has literally worked all over the world. I loved to hear him tell about all his adventures. Thanks to Roy's obedience
to God, my life will never be the same. Thank you Roy!
In July 1998 I took my first mission trip with Roy. It was
to Red Bank village, a Mayan village located in the rainforest of Belize. We went there to rebuild a church. It was very hot,
very humid, very tropical and very beautiful. We worked construction during the day and we held church services at night.
We preached we prayed, and we had wonderful altar calls. We also did a puppet ministry for the children. I never worked so
hard or had so much fun in my whole life. I knew then that God was calling me to the mission field. There was such a joy and
peace. I knew without any reservations that God would one-day place me in full time mission’s work.
Since that
first missions trip in 1998, God has blessed me to go into eight other countries sharing the Good News. My friend Roy and
his wife Becky have been on most of these trips. We once performed the drama Heaven's Gates and Hell's Flames in Africa. It
was AWESOME! Recently I was blessed to be able to go to Peru, South America and work among the Incas. We traveled high and
deep into the Andes Mountains to a village called Ichumpampa. We preached and performed puppets and other children's ministries.
With only four of us, our team was small, but we were all experienced missionaries.
During one of my foreign mission
trips to Belize, I met Assemblies of God Missionary Don Scheske. Don invited me to work along side of him as an A/G Missionary
Associate in Belize. I applied to the Assemblies of God Division of World Missions. After a lengthy application process, I
was accepted. I traveled to Springfield, MO and attended Pre-Field Orientation. It was held during the School of Missions
at Central Bible College.
I successfully
completed the required courses and was assigned to Belize, Central America for two years. It was AWESOME! I met my new wife
Kim there. Kim is a beautiful sweet Belizean that loves God with all her heart. That assignment is now complete
and I have formed my own ministry, LifeLine Ministries of Belize. As soon as we raise our support, we will return to
the work God has called us too. I am now in the process of raising my support budget. We would love for you to faithfully
pray for us and financially support this ministry. Thank you and may God bless you.
